Best PS5 Accessories
Below you'll find a list of the best best PS5 accessories to date. We'll be updating this article over time, so be sure to check back for more information on the PlayStation 5 peripherals you must purchase.
DualSense
Sony's next-gen DualSense controller is much more than an updated PS4 pad. The peripheral comes packing some impressive proprietary tech, all of which has been designed to enhance your immersion while playing on Sony's next-gen platform. The two highlights include haptic feedback and adaptive triggers. The former is a much more granular adaptation of traditional controller rumble, allowing you to "feel" the texture of different surfaces, while the latter allows developers to program resistance in triggers, meaning that you'll physically be able to feel a bow string tighten as you draw it, for example.
Other innovations in the PS5 controller include a built-in microphone array, allowing for rudimentary voice chat without a headset, and a less intrusive light bar. You can learn more about the DualSense through the following link: PS5 Controller: DualSense Features, Price, and Battery Life. The pad also comes with an updated version of the Share button named Create, as detailed through here: PS5 DualSense Create Button: What Does It Do?
DualSense Charging Station
Sony may be touting the DualSense's controller's strong battery life, but unless it's powered by goodwill alone, you're going to need to charge it at some point. That's where the DualSense Charging Station comes in: a docking station inspired by the two-tone colour scheme of the PS5 hardware that provides a neat storage place for two pads and an effective charging solution. The fact that you can charge two controllers simultaneously makes this a particularly compelling option for local multiplayer gamers – especially when you consider the PS5 only has a single USB-C port on the front.
Pulse 3D Wireless Headset
Sony's been promoting the Pulse Wireless Headset range for almost a decade now. These headphones provide high-quality audio at an affordable price, but one of their biggest selling points is their plug-and-play nature with PlayStation hardware. The Pulse 3D Wireless Headset is the latest in the long-running series, and it's designed to take advantage of the PS5's Tempest Engine (See Also: PS5 3D Audio: What Is PlayStation 5's Tempest Engine?) audio processing technology. In addition to 3D audio, the headphones also include two noise cancelling microphones for crystal-clear communication during online multiplayer games.
Media Remote
While the PS5 is a games console first and foremost, PlayStation as a brand means so much more to its audience. Sony has always been at the forefront of media consumption, and its gaming brand is no different: the PS1 could play CDs, the PS2 was a popular DVD player, the PS3 won the Blu-ray war, and the PS4 arrived alongside the transition to streaming services, such as Netflix. In addition to providing a 4K UHD Blu-ray player (See Also: PS5 Digital Edition vs PS5: What's the Difference?), the PS5 will once again include access to various multimedia apps such as YouTube and Amazon Prime (see All PS5 Apps for more). Fortunately, the Media Remote will allow you to playback your favourite content with convenience, and coolest of all it includes a microphone for voice recognition.
HD Camera
PS5's new HD Camera not only includes a super-cute clamshell design that makes it super easy to fix to the top of your television, but it's also sporting two 1080p lenses for awesome video quality. While professionals will probably rely on their tried and trusted setup, more casual players should get a kick out of the plug-and-play nature of Sony's official cam.

At launch I'm getting an extra DualSense controller, but that's pretty much it for the time being. I see no long term practical use for the Media Remote nor do I care for the HD Camera. I might get the Pulse headset later but that's if 3D Audio ends up being a feature that doesn't just get neglected by every developer who isn't first party and it actually has long term applications
The media remote has a mic? Very cool. Not seen that mentioned previously. I may get one because family struggle with the dualshock for blurays and netflix as it is.
I like the headset, but i picked up a new pair of golds earlier this year when my last set broke, so i'm set for now.
I dont have a use for the camera personally, although i am sure some will love it
Headset coming tomorrow from Amazon! How exciting!!
Headset and Charging dock coming tomorrow.... nothing else happening ☹️
Pulse headset and HD Camera coming tomorrow from Amazon. Ordered an extra Dual Sense Controller which states it has dispatched but nothing to say it's "on its way" like the others.

You get 3d audio out from any headphone you plug Inn. So you don't need the playation 1⃣
Charging Station save yourself a USB port. Its touch charging with nothing to plug into the controller. Charge two controllers at a time.
Pulse 3D headset my Gold headset has had it. The Ear Pads are striped to the foam and I can find my dongle for it.
Have all the accessories waiting minus the Headset! PS5 shipping tomorrow!!
