Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League - 2nd February
An action-adventure shooter from Rocksteady Studios, the studio behind the wonderful Batman: Arkham series, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League arrives on 2nd February:
Featuring an original narrative set within an expansive open-world city of Metropolis, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League puts the four DC Super-Villains on a collision course with an invading alien force and DC Super Heroes who are now laser-focused on destroying the city they once vowed to protect. All the while, the Suicide Squad must be mindful of the lethal explosives implanted in their heads that could go off at the first sign of defiance.
Helldivers 2 - 8th February
A little later on the 8th we have another shooter – this time in multiplayer co-op form – from Arrowhead Game Studios:
Step into the boots of the Helldivers, an elite class of soldiers whose mission is to spread peace, liberty and Managed Democracy using the biggest, baddest and most explosive tools in the galaxy.
Helldivers don't go planet side without proper backup, but it’s up to you to decide how and when to call it in. Not only do you have a host of superpowered primary weapons and customizable loadouts, you also have the ability to call on stratagems during play.
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth - 29th February
The second installment of Final Fantasy 7's mega remake lands at the end of the month:
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is the second entry in the Final Fantasy VII remake project, which retells the story of the genre-redefining RPG across three distinct games.
Iconic heroes Cloud, Barret, Tifa, Aerith and Red XIII have escaped from the dystopian city Midgar and are now in pursuit of Sephiroth, the vengeful swordsman from Cloud’s past who was thought to be dead.
Rise of the Ronin - 22nd March
Explore war-torn 19th-century Japan when Rise of the Ronin, a combat-focused open-world action RPG from Nioh and Ninja Gaiden studio Team Ninja, arrives on 22nd March:
Japan, 1863. After three centuries of the Tokugawa Shogunate’s oppressive rule, the Black Ships of the West descend upon the nation’s borders and the country falls into a state of turmoil. Amidst the chaos of war, disease and political unrest, a nameless warrior forges their own path, holding the very fate of Japan in their hands.
Dragon's Dogma 2 - 22nd March
Dragon's Dogma 2 finally comes to PS5 on 22nd March. Here's a little more if you need a quick catch-up:
