A Plague Tale: Requiem has 36 Trophies to unlock, including the Platinum. In this part of our A Plague Tale: Requiem Trophy guide, we will first reveal our Trophy Roadmap, and then detail how to unlock all Trophies.

Trophy Roadmap

It is not possible to unlock all of the Trophies in A Plague Tale: Requiem in a single playthrough; you're going to need Chapter Select and New Game+ to finish off a few of them. This is because three progression paths for your Skills unlock over the course of the game, and are dependent on your actions. For example, you'll gain more stealth-based Skills if you stay out of sight; the same goes if you take the opposite route and get stuck into combat. Therefore, you may not have enough time to unlock every Skill, which is required for Trophies.

Furthermore, you might not find enough resources to fully Upgrade your weapons and equipment. This is a requirement to unlock Trophies. Luckily, all your Skills and Upgrades carry over into New Game+, allowing you to continue working on those Trophies.

Some Trophies are situational and can only be unlocked in specific chapters. They are:

Since the game has a very kind Chapter Select function, though, you can easily reload the chapter you need and unlock the Trophy that way. The same goes for any Collectibles you miss.

Are There Any Missable Trophies?

There are no Missable Trophies in A Plague Tale: Requiem thanks to Chapter Select and New Game+. Any Collectibles you miss can be cleaned up through Chapter Select after completing the title — or even during your playthrough — and you can keep working on your Skills and Upgrades through New Game+.

Do Difficulty Options Affect Trophies?

A Plague Tale: Requiem has Narrative, Normal, and Hard difficulty settings. However, difficulty options don't affect Trophies. You can unlock all of them — and the Platinum Trophy — on the Narrative difficulty setting if you wish.

You'll need to unlock the Light Footstep, Nimbleness, Throwing Stance, and Armour Piercer skills to unlock this Trophy.

You'll need to unlock the Alchemy Knowledge, Nothing Lost, Material Division, and Pure Product skills to unlock this Trophy.

Perfect Shot

Bronze: Shoot all the pine cones

In the game's first chapter, Hugo will task Amicia with shooting pine cones as he sends them downstream. This takes place just after the stealth tutorial with Lucas. You must, as the Trophy description states, shoot all the pine cones Hugo places in the river. For more help and information, refer to our Under a New Sun walkthrough.

Perfect Throw

Gold: Successfully complete all throws in the Crowns game

One of the Souvenirs in the A Sea of Promises chapter tasks you with throwing Pots through wreaths made out of flowers. Successfully throw the four Pots through each of the wreaths and you'll unlock the Trophy.

Old Protector

Gold: Interact with all of the old protector's items in the sanctuary

During chapter 9, Tales and Revelations, Amicia and Hugo will be joined by Sophia as they go undercover during a religious ceremony on La Cuna. Clearly marked by the red robes they're wearing, the threesome will eventually peel off from the main pack. They will comment on how they're walking through rooms that belonged to the old protector just after the garden, and from here, you'll need to interact with everything you find.

In the first room, there's the wooden house, the bed, and a set of dolls to interact with. In the second room, there's the suit of armour, a box of wooden toys, weapons rack, and drawings on top of the chest. In the laboratory, there's the athanor, two potions, chemical instruments, and cooking apparatus. In the room upstairs, there are some scrolls to interact with in the back-left corner. After interacting with all of these items, you'll unlock the Trophy.

Mercy

Gold: Don't kill the guards on the docks

During chapter 4, Protector's Duty, you will eventually encounter a puzzle where you must cooperate with an enemy soldier in order to progress. At the end, he'll realise who you are and start hunting you down. Before he recognises you, shoot him with Ignifer using the Sling, and then do the same with Tar. This will burn his clothes and create a path for you to cross over the rats and reach the other side while the guard is stunned. He isn't killed, though, so once you push the metal door ahead of you open, the Trophy will unlock.
