New PSVR2 game Stilt looks set to bring back the age of classic 3D platformers with a virtual reality title that replaces your hands with gigantic springs. You shall use these to navigate a world where an octopus has stolen your spaceship atop a volcano and thrown all your belongings across the landscape. It's your job to reclaim all that cargo and steal your spaceship back. Check out the reveal trailer above.
As you bounce around the island, you'll unlock new abilities and find all the collectibles, with a multiplayer mode on the side to involve friends. PvP modes allow you to hit your buddies into the sea to score points while another is all about controlling specific zones. The PS Store wishlist page states Stilt will be out for PSVR2 in March.

Looks like another quest port given the state of the graphics, but still looks like it could be fun
It actually does look kind of fun.
In other news, Ultrawings 2 stealth dropped on the store yesterday. Looks pretty great (as the original was) and a decent price of £16.
Hopefully PushSq will do a review, there is loads of content in the game so I don't expect it anytime soon.
@CaptD fyi the game released before the developer intended, so no day one patch. He said it was going to be more like a day 5 patch at this point.
Just for what it’s worth 😁
@ztpayne7 @CaptD Hearing that there’s an Ultrawings 2 made my day. The first one was a pretty amazing experience, so patch or no patch the sequel is going right in the cart. It’s a shame the only VR headline making the rounds is essentially a negative quote, but I guess that makes for better reading than “Sequel to Awesome Flight Game Releases Early.”
I was going to make an ARMS joke but the springs don’t even spring, they just stay the way they are. And nothing is worse in first person than platforming, it’s one of the main reasons I stopped playing Destiny 2, it just doesn’t work. And I was starting to feel nauseous 30 seconds into the vid.🤮
I wonder how many people will buy a PSVR2 to play this?😂
@Amnesiac for what it's worth, wasn't trying to be negative, more along the lines of trying to defend the developer. I guess the biggest issue seen was with a HOTAS controller not responding correctly. He said it's a known issue and is in the day one patch.
I've never played this type of game in VR outside of the Star Wars flight demo, definitely interested in learning more about it
@ztpayne7 Oh, you weren’t being negative at all. I was referring to the article about the Rec Room developers deciding against a PSVR2 port, which has been popping up on a bunch of gaming sites.
@Amnesiac ohhhhh. yeah, I've seen a ton of people get upset about that on the reddit. Doom and Gloom and the world is over because they're not porting.
On topic so I'm not just talking about a different game on this article, I think Stilt definitely looks interesting but is much lower on my priority list (bottom third) and would have to be a deep sale imo.
@ztpayne7 Yeah I didn't mean to derail the topic.
And yes I did see that Sonys incompetence had struck again and the Devs said something about it not being on their bingo card.
Still it seems to be in a fairly good state (only from what I've seen and I've yet to play it) although hotus support seems a bit broken, however there may be other bugs so waiting for the patch might be best.
I did hear that both dualsense and sense controllers are supported.
Again apologies for derailing.
Is anyone currently reviewing Ultrawings 2? It looks fantastic!
Edit: sorry, seems I added to a de-rail lol
@CaptD haha no problem on my end. I know there are limited hours in the day but I wish this site covered VR better. A lot of things slip through the cracks so there aren't official places to discuss games not covered (besides the forums I guess). I feel like PushSquare is super reliable on regular PS5 news.
@liamcroft just a thanks for the recent amount of PSVR2 articles...Sony don't seem to support it enough so it needs you guys to show some love...thanks again!!
