Boy, it sure feels like we were just talking about Synth Riders, doesn't it? Well, here we are again, as the team at Kluge Interactive has announced the release of another DLC pack for its immaculate rhythm title.
Synth Riders at long last returns to the well of electro swing with 'Electro Swing Essentials 2' — one of the genres the game toils with that we really think helps set it apart from its VR rhythm brethren. This is one of the meatier packs of late, adding nine additional songs to the already impressive roster of tunes. Four of those tracks are free to all players, with an additional five available for purchase. You can buy them individually for $1.99, or you can get them as a bundle for $7.99. Worth noting: this song pack is only available for the PSVR2 version, so those playing on the original PSVR are out of luck.
The free tracks are as follows:
- Keep You In Line - Jamie Berry (Featuring Cissie)
- Keep On Smilin - Wolfgang Lohr (Featuring Emma Lea & Ashley Slater)
- Watch Your Tongue - PiSK & Little Violet
- Silent Movie - Little Violet
And then for the paid bundle, you'll be receiving:
- Guilty Pleasure - Jamie Berru (Featuring Little Violet)
- Boring 20s - Tamela D'Amico & Wolfgang Lohr & Ashley Slater
- Magic Man - Balduin & Wolfgang Lohr (Featuring J Fitz)
- Let's Start Again (Odd Chap Remix) - Cut Capers
- Roses - Swingrowers
It's quite a sizeable bundle of tracks, in a genre that works brilliantly with the game. What do you think? Will you be picking up all nine tracks? Or are the four free ones already more than enough for you to don your headset once again? Sound off in the comments section below.

More free tracks are always welcome - too bad it's in the genre I don't enjoy as much as most others in the game
Fantastic news…I play Synth Riders as part of my daily work out and new songs will add to the fun
Never played it, will have to have a look, for anyone that cares white mink black cotton albums are great electro swing compilations
I love Synth Riders, but they offer already enough songs for free with the main version, they only bit I'm willing to pay extra are the Experience songs which are phenomenal
The first electro swing pack and the caravan pack are what introduced me to the genre to begin with (and contain some of my favs in official synth riders tracks)
Ill just youtube the tracks and probably pick and choose the ones I like the sound off (as I have been doing with all synth riders DLC)
Im Quest player so am kinda spoilt with custom songs (though it seems to be slowing down a tad now) But Im happy to support the dev where and there.
On a side note I would have done the same with harmonix "Audica" had they not just abandon the title.
On a quick clip listen I like silent movie. (With the other paid songs Ill have to have a proper listen)
I like the sound of "Guilty Pleasure" in the free selection
Bad choice, if you release a game called Synth Riders you should release synthwave songs
I am very happy with this songpack. I bought Synthriders over Beat Saber because of their electroswing songs! I played the free songs tonight, most are great. I'll check which DLC are worth money on youtube. I wish they gave us a new experience song... I bought them all and I'll buy more if they release them!
