It looks as though Bandai Namco is doing a lot with its horror platformer series, Little Nightmares, this year. In addition to the upcoming Little Nightmares 3, it seems a remaster of the first game is also on the way.
An ESRB listing has outed the existence of Little Nightmares: Enhanced Edition, and it's heading to PS5 and other current-gen systems. The rating doesn't tell us anything about the game we don't know, but the fact it's popped up on the ESRB's website suggests it'll be announced in the near future.
We can only speculate what the Enhanced Edition will bring to the table; 4K visuals, faster loading, and usage of the DualSense's capabilities all seem like safe bets.
As mentioned, this isn't the only Little Nightmares project on the horizon. A third entry is in development at Supermassive Games, the makers of Until Dawn and the Dark Pictures Anthology.

Hopefully contains the excellent DLC.
I still haven't played the second game.
@themightyant neither have I which surprises me seeing as how often I see it on sale.
I'm down for this.
So much for my 2024 wish of no more needless updates from ps4/xb1 era.
Little nightmares plays and looks great as it is. I don't currently see the point in buying a "next gen" edition.
Just release a patch.
I wonder if they'll have a free upgrade? Or a small fee for this?
PSVR2 version would be more beneficial, definitely buy again. Or maybe if you own PS4 version a free upgrade will be available.
I really enjoyed Little Nightmares but this seems a bit pointless to be honest. I suppose it's good for people who haven't played it yet but the game has been out for 6 years now and is constantly on sale for pennies. I'd have thought anyone who was interested would own it by now. Is an Enhanced Edition on PS5 really going to be worth buying again for people who already have it?
"Little Nightmares: Enhanced Edition Will Creep onto PS5, According to ESRB"
Jesus. Either title case the whole thing or don't; the way this is Written makes It Very hard to Read because It's Randomly jumping Between the Two.
@zekepliskin - it's written fine, linking words such as 'onto' 'to' 'the' don't require capitalisation.
In your opinion it is, in mine it isn't. I'm aware of that form of doing it; if so it should be "will creep" not "Will Creep" for example, otherwise you're mixing Proper Title Case with only proper noun title case, for example. It's poor form/style even for a quick article, for those who care about quality of writing.
@zekepliskin - I can somewhat see your point, not the end of the world either way though
@Kaiten_the_Hero Quite.
