Topic: Honkai Star Rail

Anyone tried the new fiction stages? I've got 6 stars on the first 2 stages but 1 star on stage 3. I don't have any decent DoT characters and looks like this is specifically for them.

@z0d15g0d 3 starred the first, one on the second, zero on the third. No I don't have DoT characters levelled either. But I only tried each once, i'm sure there are some optimisations I can do to do a bit better, like last time where I ended up with 8/12 stars with averagely built characters.

These modes seem designed to get us to build as wide a range of characters as possible and you don't have to level them that far. I got 8/12 with Lv 50-60 Himeko, Serval and Herta doing most damage in the last run. I'm sure I could spend a few days levelling Sampo, Guinaifen & Hook to do much better this time. We've got 6 weeks.

@z0d15g0d Sadly i'm busy most of this week and away this weekend so i'm not sure I'm going to properly get to Penacony any time soon. (no spoilers please!) Will do any dailies/time sensitive stuff if I can of course.

@z0d15g0d You're all good. I don't think there were spoilers in your post, I was just saying please don't post any as I will be behind (or use spoiler tags, though these don't show up in emails).

I'm debating whether to pull or not this patch. I've saved almost 100 wishes and have 30ish pity. I really wanted DHIL before... but now I have Dr Ratio I feel I need other characters much more than another Imaginary DPS. My main reasons to get him is story/lore and he's multi-target DPS. But I think I might wait for reruns of Characters like Fu Xuan, Jingliu, Luocha especially as I've had bad gacha luck lately.

It's not helped that I don't really need/want any of the 4 stars as I already have E6 Tingyun, Misha looks like a typically bad single target 4-star DPS and I don't currently use Guinaifen. But I do still kinda want him (DHIL)! Decisions, decisions.

@z0d15g0d - Not played PF yet, going to finish building Sampo, need to take him from 70 to 80 and max his LC, thankfully he's at E6 so I can skimp a bit on traces for now. Just pulled Black Swan but need the BP rewards to put her together fully so I'll wait until I hit 50 on that. Also need to build Asta too, she's half done but I got Bronya's LC from standard so need to build that for her. Resource hunting, the real HSR endgame!

@Shigurui I was away for 4-5 days and couldn't play much so I just spent the all my TP autobattling to get credits, character and lightcone XP so I feel full of resources right now!

@themightyant Haha Thanks. I'm trying to get DHIL's LC at the mo as Sparkle is the next 5 star and will be getting her mostly for him. I tried Misha and you're right. I did not like their kit and the ultimate looked ridiculous too. I really want Fu Xuan and Jingliu also (Yangqin is useless endgame especially against the monkey boss). I don't think you will regret getting DHIL.

@Shigurui Congrats on pulling Black Swan and Bronya's LC (I'm saving all my Undying Starlight's to get that instead). BS' kit is tailor made for DoT teams. Her Ult looks really cool also. Yea I'm waiting till I get to a high level on BP before I decide to get it also.

@Shigurui With regards to Asta. In the charcter trials she's equipped with Planetary Rendezvous LC and she seems to be doing a lot more damage than with memories of the past which I've been using all along. What LC do you use with her?

@z0d15g0d - Thanks mate, I only ever used Asta very early in the game so I put s5 Meshing Cogs on her and left it at that as I stopped using her around level 40.

Edit: I just replayed the trial with Asta. Think the extra damage is because its a mono fire team, the LC on her gives the damage buff because of that team.

@themightyant - Always a nice feeling to have. I put myself in this position, wasn't planning to pull on this patch but Black Swan's trial changed my mind. I have the perfect team mates for her with high Eidolons so I went for it.
