Interaction Isn't Explicit is described as a "short, interactive study" designed to explore the "pros and cons" of traditional gameplay mechanics, and it's free to download on the PlayStation Store. It was added back on 16th of January, but PlayStation just released a trailer for the experimental experience, boosting its discoverability considerably.
With a slick black-and-white aesthetic and a breezy 30-minute runtime, designer Frank L. Silva says Interaction Isn't Explicit is not a "traditional game but a debate of different aspects of game design". The experiment's end goal is to determine what mechanics are "essential for the language of computer games".
From what we can see, it seems like an intriguing experience. Silva stresses that this is not a complete game but invites PlayStation players to "explore a visually stunning world accompanied by a simple but effective third-person shooter combat and magnificent music, composed by FRENCH 79". It even has some Trophies for the curious to earn simply by seeing things through to the end.

Looks really cool like the style and the gameplay looks to be simple and fun.
Ok, there's something really special about this one.
Definitely check it out
Frank Silva?
Kind of reminds me of Drawn to Death which was a complete disaster and a fumble of an interesting idea. 😅 I do like experimental projects like this though.
@Th3solution It's nothing like Drawn to Death, I played it last week and it basically explains gaming mechanics whilst you play those different mechanics as its being explained. It's not a game but definitely an interesting project
@SonOfClement Ah, ok. Interesting.
@SonOfClement he just said it reminded him of the game. It's not like he's making a bunch of comparisons or anything
@Th3solution the concept for that game was actually pretty cool but the execution...wasn't great 😅
I was so invested in this. I sure hope the creators turn this into a full game in the future
@Pepsiman_100 Yes I understand it's because of the graphics, I was only reffering to the gameplay but I should've been more clear and I may of come across a bit rude which wasn't my intention.
@Pepsiman_100 Yes, I agree. It was a really great idea. The art design was so creative. But the game just didn’t play very well and the backdrop of the sketchbook could have been implemented better.
Will give this a go, 30 minutes, free definitely seems worth the try.
Thought I was either dreaming or having a stroke reading the title to this.
