We didn't think any Dragon Ball game would come close to looking as good as Dragon Ball FighterZ until the inevitable sequel ā but Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero has proven us wrong. This upcoming brawler may just be the most gorgeous Dragon Ball title of them all, at least going by this new trailer.
Indeed, this is our best look yet at the successor to the Budokai Tenkaichi series. The video spotlights Goku and Vegeta, as they cycle through their increasingly powerful Super Saiyan forms. It's a serious visual spectacle; everything from the character models and animations to the hit effects and environmental detail is eye-popping.
At this point it's worth noting that the game is coming to current-gen platforms only, including PS5 ā it isn't being held back by the PS4, and that's probably why it's such a looker.
Sparking! Zero doesn't have a release window yet, but we'd be surprised if it doesn't launch later this year. Are you already on the hype train? Explode with power in the comments section below.

Sparking Zero sounds like a sugar free champagne.š¾
This trailer is š„ Really a beautiful rendition of the PS2 games. In any other year ( except 2023) this would be an instant preorder but so many games this year I'll wait and see.
This looks pretty amazing!
Bro Iām creaming myself
I am so hyped for this I can't contain myself! Hopefully it's the true sequel of BT3 we have been waiting for all these years!
Game looks really good. I hold Budokai Tenkaichi 3 close to my heart so seeing a game that's technically a 4th entry in the series has me excited.
Damn just holy damn and the amount of playable vegeta's and goku's is wild
I know this really has to do witg the devs making the same story over and over without any interest in making a new one, but I wish Sean Schemmel put effort into his screams again. Hearing him scream at the top of his lungs in Budokai 1 and Burst Limit was so good!
Giant characters now confimed this really is a True Tenkaichi game I can't wait this is gonna be incredible ^__^
Stupid name, but looks awesome. It's sad that it looks better than any generation of the anime. Almost like they should just do a shot for shot remake using the games engine.
